This policy explains how Chel B. (“we”) collects and uses information when you shop on this website, message our Facebook Page, or when we use Meta products (Messenger, Instagram, Catalog / Business APIs) to serve you.
Who we are
Chel B. is a small online shop for fragrance and beauty. We fulfill orders from Tarlac, Philippines. Our public Facebook Page is facebook.com/chelboni09.
What we collect
From the website (checkout / My order)
- Name, mobile number, and shipping address
- Order contents, quantities, Order ID (for example
WEB-…), and notes you enter - Payment method you choose (GCash or bank). We do not collect your GCash PIN, bank password, or OTP on this site
From Facebook / Messenger / Instagram (Meta)
- Your Facebook / Messenger name and Page-scoped ID so we can reply to the same thread
- Messages you send us (orders, questions, addresses, payment screenshots)
- If you use our Instagram presence, similar public/profile details Meta provides for business messaging
Technical data
- Basic logs needed to run the site (via our host, currently Netlify) such as IP, browser, and pages requested
- If we later add a Meta Pixel, standard event data (page view, add to cart, purchase) as described by Meta
How we use it
- Confirm and fulfill orders, quote shipping, and pack / ship parcels
- Match payment proof to your Order ID
- Customer support on Messenger and (optionally) WhatsApp
- Keep our internal order system accurate (stock, invoices, shipping status)
- Show our own product catalog on chelb.net and, if enabled, in Meta catalog / ads — using our product data, not your private inbox
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Messenger to spam people who did not message us.
Meta Business APIs
We may use Meta’s Business / Messenger / Catalog APIs so we can:
- Receive and reply to customer chats on our Page
- Share order instructions (pay, ship, Order ID) in the same conversation
- Keep a product catalog in Commerce Manager in sync with items we already sell on chelb.net
Catalog data is our shop inventory (name, photo, price, availability). Chat data is used only to support that customer’s order or inquiry.
Who we share with
- Meta — to send/receive messages and, if enabled, catalog/ads tools
- Hosting & operations — website host and our order system (so staff can pack and invoice). They process data only to provide those services
- Couriers — name, phone, and address needed to deliver
- Payment apps you use — GCash / bank; those apps have their own policies. We only receive the proof you send
We do not share your inbox with advertisers as a mailing list.
Retention
We keep order and shipping details as long as needed to fulfill, handle returns, and meet Philippine record-keeping needs. Support messages are kept so we can continue a conversation and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete personal chat content we control — see Data deletion.
Your choices
- Do not submit checkout if you do not want us to store that order
- You can cancel an unpaid website order in My order before admin confirms
- Message us to correct an address or contact number

Children
This shop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data through Meta APIs.
Security
Access to orders is limited to shop staff. Payment secrets (PIN/OTP) should never be typed on this website or in a public comment — send screenshots only in Messenger if we ask for proof of payment.
